This unit at The Azure is an existing condominium with an estimated floor area of 1000 sqft. It features a Modern Contemporary style. Since May 2021 last year, this impressively stunning unit has been making waves among the Singaporean community. Aptly known as The Azure, this unit cleverly follows a Modern Contemporary style that suits its given namesake. Despite its modern and slightly luxurious appeal, the entire renovation is not overly costly at all compared to other hotshot designers out there. Thus, this defining factor makes this particular design and its team of designers a hot commodity for many condo dwellers who needed an upgrade/makeover but still want to save their hard-earned moolah.

Since Modern Scandavanian is the rage right now, therefore the theme of this unit's design mimics it from head to toe. Whether it is starting from the wooden-derived cabinets right up to the ornate-shaped looking dining wooden tables. For most parts, light colors are played around frequently and very often. For instance, the ceilings are painted white while the walls surrounding the built-in LED TV are set in white natural marble, but with a little definition added to it. Even the surrounding floors are set in natural light-colored patterned marble stone flooring so to give the entire walkway an illusion of spaciousness and also to help maximize space for maximum effect.

We would recommend this designer if your renovation design is more towards the clean and stately contemporary side. Furthermore, it is combined tastefully with a prestigious touch for the essence of higher living. In addition, the particular designer is a master smith when it comes to creating and maximizing spaces for condo units. For instance, this defining factor is seen clearly throughout the vast living room up to the kitchen/dining area. The furniture and decor are strategically placed, coordinating well with the adequately spacious spaces and width angle of each room. Budget-wise, you are getting your best bang for the buck! At $40,000 for the total renovation, you can never get such a more buck-worthy price elsewhere. Not forgetting to mention is also its incredible design and craftsmanship. The designer has managed to turn a contemporary modern look into something that is pleasant and refreshing for home dwellers.

1. Bedroom

The single-bed bedroom has a slightly different design when compared to the previous main bedroom. For instance, the designer has designed a built-in wooden staircase to take you to the sleeping chambers. Overall, this specific design is unique and non-mainstream. In reality, so much that the feeling is reminiscent of sleeping in a Japanese-oriented bedroom in traditional Kyoto, Japan. The entire walls and ceiling are painted in a Nippon pristine white shade to give the bedroom a soothing and peaceful atmosphere. Thus, prepare for more than 50 winks of sleep but expect to doze off like a baby and wake up feeling refreshed. Also, the room could do with more decorations on the wall above the bed head.

2. Living Room | Soon Teck

The living room entrance hallway is brightly lit and painted with light natural colors and further accentuated by the light fixture placed inside the Soon Teck woodworks built-in cabinet rack and on top of the ceilings. Even the light-colored wood-based cabinets are matchy-matchy color coordinated with their surroundings, aka the ceilings, flooring, and walls. Here, on top of the wooden racks, various ornaments and decor are placed accordingly. You see everything on display, such as books, eclectic-shaped ornaments, and the world-famous Russian Matryoshka dolls lining up, from increasing to decreasing sizes of all types. The Russian Matryoshka dolls are an eye-catcher as they are rare vintage finds.

3. Kitchen | Ikea

The kitchen and dining hall are the epicenter of all culinary delights. Here, expect to be illuminated with Ikea Nordic Modern Style Chandelier lights with a scrumptious gastronomical feast laid on the Ikea log wood dining table before their eyes as they sit on the white-colored Ikea Baltsar swivel dining chair. Picture yourself being a top Michelin star chef ala Gordon Ramsay effortlessly whipping up a cooking storm for you and your loved ones. In relevance to this, notice that the kitchen and dining hall in this apartment are adjacent, ala facing each other. Just a step away from the dining hall is an entrance to the kitchen. It is designed in such a way that you can head to the fridge and grab all your favorite snacks to sit down and eat at the dining table.

4. Living Room | Hong Lee's

The living room is super-spacious and has a clean, polished white Hong Lee's cream nova marble slate look. Thanks to this defining factor, the entire room evokes a grand and magnificent vibe that feels like the owner of this house has a sudden lifestyle upgrade. Furthermore, the state-of-the-art Panasonic built-in LED TV in the living room further accentuates the grandness and sophistication of the hall. Due to the living room's sheer spaciousness, the added factor of the latest built-in LED TV reminds many of the enthralling sensations that they are enjoying a mini home theater right at home, with countless pure blockbuster/entertainment fun.

5. Small Bedroom

The Bedroom is designed in a simple and minimalistic way, in tune with the modern contemporary theme of the entire house. From there, you see many lights, and natural mind-soothing colors, for instance, Nippon's pristine white. In addition, the natural white light fixture helps to maximize the pure and creamy brightness of the bedroom a step further since the ceilings and walls are already white color. A particular standout piece of item, aka the Ikea's colour core wooden wardrobe with inner LED lighting, helps to elevate the entire minimalistic style bedroom to a whole new level. On the other hand, the Ikea vanity mirror with integrated LED lightning helps to dimly illuminate the room with its white lights.

Final words

Overall, one can highly recommend this designer to condo owners who want a modern contemporary makeover, albeit at a fraction of the price. The design is in line with the highly-sought after modern-contemporary look. After all, every house owner needs a refreshing change from the usual timeless classic design that has been around for ages. Because during these turbulent times of the pandemic, Singaporeans need something new, modern, and hip to kickstart a new year. It's akin to starting life afresh after going through nearly three years of Covid-19. Aside from that, you can see that space is fully maximized and well-coordinated for each room. Due to this added advantage, the user can walk about freely without worrying about bumping onto any furniture or carpentry. Social butterflies can also invite guests into their apartments and hold big parties or gatherings since the ample space permits them to put on extra tables and chairs.
