It features a Scandinavian style. Nonetheless, this unit was the magnum opus of the creatively gifted Singaporean design team company, Couple Abode Pte Ltd. Ever since they first made their foray in the local ID market here, they have managed to successfully put on their ID renovation Midas touch on houses of all statures and sizes across the interior of Singaporean homes. The unit has a Scandinavian interior design style symbolized by using a mixture of minimalistic textures and soft color palettes to make a simple, modern decor back to the basics. It stresses the most functional, where natural light wood such as beech and ash is mostly used in the furnishings and embellishments. For starters, all the high-end wood furnishings have a sleek and streamlined aesthetic build to it, which means that it is clean-cut devoid of any over-the-top or tacky decorations. Naturally, the clean and streamlined look of all the featured furnishings indirectly help in space-saving and illusion enhancement. Other than being aesthetically attractive, each furniture has a functional purpose that goes beyond mere display decors. Take, for example, the built-in kitchen cabinet. On top of having hidden storage compartments to help keep the place neat and tidy, it has several kitchen utilities.
We would recommend the designer and his team because we felt that they are the numero uno when it comes to ID designing firms across the Republic of Singapore. Our entire renovation and handover of our home were completed recently and we engaged Couple Abode Pte Ltd for this job. For starters, the designer in charge of our ID project was the one we are looking for in terms of ID experience, skills and talent. When we were first introduced to the Chief Designer of this project, he "wow" us instantly due to his good communication skills and charisma. But most importantly, he knows all about ID at the back of his hand. For example, he could tell us all about the tiling materials to choose, the color scheme that suits our renovation unit and the budget that fits our price tag. Overall, we give our thumbs up to them!
The dining area has a duo of LightsAtelier modern pendant lights that looks trendy and functional-looking. Nonetheless, they are energy-efficient and help to light up entire living spaces with their bright lights. At the same time, there is an UrbanMood wooden dining table with matching FortyTwo barstool dining chairs below the pendant lights. The dining table is perfect for a young modern family to dine on stylishly and comfortably. However, there are a few things that can be improved with this dining area. For example, you can mount a few stunning random decorations or two on the bare Nippon white walls.
The living room has an LG Black Screen TV mounted on a simple Nippon white-painted wall. Meanwhile, the white-painted wall is space-maximizing for its bright white hue helps to give an illusion of spaces to others. At the same time, there is also a Kohepets dog playpen at the right corner of the living room. Naturally, inside the dog playpen is a small Shi Tzu to help to bring good luck to the environment since pets are normally associated with positive Feng Shui. On the other hand, the UrbanMood wooden coffee table is perfect for some storage and space-saving.
The bedroom has a Speedy Decor large custom-made wooden wardrobe that looks basic and functional. Nevertheless, it is perfect for space-storing and space-saving purposes. For example, it is more than spacious enough to help with the clutter elimination of the user's clothing and fashion essentials. Aesthetically speaking, this wooden wardrobe has a rustic natural light brown wooden tone. At the same time, the BedandBasics large queen-sized bed has soft lavender color bedsheets that are color-coordinated with the TheCurtainBoutique large bay window curtains. The ExpressWindows bay windows bring in a much-needed natural streak of sunlight and ventilation into the bedroom's spaces.
The kitchen has a straight-lined kitchen layout. Compared to other types of kitchen layouts out there, the straight-lined kitchen layout is more systematic and well-organized since each built-in kitchen utility is positioned in sequence order. Appearance-wise, this Speedy Decor custom-made cabinet has a fuzzy and homely appeal due to its natural light wood design. But what makes it a cut above the rest is that it is built-in with several cutting-edge LG kitchen utilities that apply the latest innovation in homeware. For example, the LG exhaust hood and three-stove cooking burner works side-by-side to help whip up a delicious meal.
Overall, we can conclude and wrap it up by saying that the unit is designed for a quintessentially Scandinavian style. For example, this unit is space-enhanced despite being initially a compact-sized unit. This factor can be seen clearly in its limited spaces that are heavily decluttered and maximized to full effect. But what makes this unit a cut above the rest? Without a doubt, it is the functional but trendy looking dog playpen in the living room quarters. The dog's playpen is in a simple black color to match with the neutral palette of the surroundings. Nonetheless, inside the dog's playpen is a cute Shi Tzu dog that also helps to bring luck and harmonization to the living quarters.
Finally, the theme across the house fits perfectly with everything surrounding it. For example, you find a lot of sleek and streamlined designs. In addition, the colors are minimalistic and natural.
