It features a Scandinavian style. Nonetheless, this unit was the magnum opus of the creatively gifted Singaporean design team company, De Style Interior Pte Ltd. Ever since they first made their foray in the local ID market here, they have managed to successfully put on their ID renovation Midas touch on houses of all statures and sizes across the interior of Singaporean homes. The unit has a Modern Scandinavian interior design style symbolized by using a mixture of clean lines together to create a stunning aesthetic that is functional and practical, thanks mostly to the massive use of natural Nordic-origin light wood such as beech and oak. Also, do not be surprised to see a neutral palette in a large chunk of its living spaces since flamboyant striking colors are a major no-no. For starters, there is an occasional pop of stark contrast of colors in certain parts across the living spaces. A notable example would be the whimsical and fun-looking bedroom. Amid all the random pop-culture display decors such as the odd Sanrio Hello Kitty plush toy or two on the open shelving cabinet above the study table, the walls behind it are strikingly painted in a Nippon denim indigo blue that helps to bring out the playful vibe of all the colorful display decors and accessories even more.
We were highly impressed with De Style's mind-blowingly amazing revamp of our home! We like to thank the lead interior designer and the entire design team for doing an exceptional and well-executed job. For starters, we were completely blown of our minds with the team's design skills, communication skills and work ethics since they were able to give a 360% transformation to our home despite it being initially rather shabby and dowdy-looking to look. As our pre-renovated home need a lot of retouching work, we were rather indecisive and had a tough time deciding the right materials and color to suit our dream home. But luckily, the entire team were very patient and accomodating to all our needs and wants even when they have to work past the working hours. As a result, our dream home got delivered on time even though it was barely three months into the deadline.
The kitchen looks modern but cozy-looking. Nonetheless, this kitchen stands out because of its galley-shaped kitchen layout defined by its two parallel sides for more efficient working productivity. At the same time, this galley-shaped kitchen has a Speedy Decor timber-wood kitchen cabinet with multiple well-designed storage and compartments for a tidier space. Moreover, this kitchen cabinet has a mounted HipVan numbera wall clock in black as aesthetic decor and to tell the passing time. On the other hand, this kitchen has a Hoe Kee stainless steel washing sink with a matching water faucet for some efficient daily domestic washing-up.
The dining area has a LightVault Melantha Industrial Black Geometric Pendant Lamp hanging above the Nippon white plastered ceiling. Below the pendant lamp is a HipVan Persis Marble Dining Table 1.5m in Black perfect for a young modern family to hold casual daily meals and social gatherings on festive occasions such as Christmas. Moreover, the dining table is firm and sturdy enough. For example, it will not break easily despite countless wear and tear. But to wrap up the look of this dining table are several HipVan Hakon Dining Armchairs and a bench for ultra-comfy and stylish seating down.
The bedroom has a HipVan Essentials Queen Headboard Box Bed in Denim fabric. Nevertheless, this Queen Headboard Box Bed looks plush and comfy enough for two sleepers to sleep in maximum comfort. However, the Nippon white walls behind the bedstand need art decor to help jazz up and beautify the dull and empty spaces. At the same time, the HipVan Black Dark Oak decor fan 16 inches is the perfect accessory to help bring air circulation across the room. On the other hand, the Speedy Decor custom-made multipurpose cabinet in white is storage and space-saving for the room's display decors.
The bathroom looks spacious and modern-looking. Nevertheless, it has two sets of UrbanMood full-mirrored bathroom cabinets in different color palettes but in the same design. But most importantly, this storage and space-saving bathroom cabinet can help to keep the bathroom spaces clean by eliminating clutter. At the same time, this bathroom has a GamaResources glass shower screen that stands out since it is anti-fog and easy to clean. Inside this shower screen is a Hoe Kee stainless-steel rainfall showerhead that is more efficient than a regular showerhead since it helps to project a blast of refreshing water droplets for bathing.
Overall, we can conclude and wrap it up by saying that the unit is designed for a quintessentially Modern Scandinavian style. For example, this unit is space-enhanced despite being initially a compact-sized unit. This factor can be seen clearly in its limited spaces that are heavily decluttered and maximized to full effect. But what makes this unit a cut above the rest? Naturally, it is the energy-efficient modern pendant lights across the living spaces. For example, the pendant lights defy traditionalism and conventionality since it is not just functional piece of lighting equipment. However, it is also eye-pleasing and beautiful to look. It makes the perfect aesthetic decor due to the simple light bulb inserted in a stunning black geometric casing.
