This unit at Sky Habitat Condo @ 7 Bishan St 15 is a resale HDB apartment with an estimated floor area of 721 sqft. It features a Modern Contemporary style. Nonetheless, this unit was the magnum opus of the creatively gifted Singaporean design team company, AC Vision Design Pte Ltd. Ever since they first made their foray in the local ID market here, they have managed to successfully put on their ID renovation Midas touch on houses of all statures and sizes across the interior of Singaporean homes. The unit has a Modern Scandinavian interior design style symbolized by using a mixture of minimalistic textures and soft color palettes to bring things back to the basics of form and functionality, albeit with the help of natural elements such as marble and wood in its living spaces. For starters, there is the uniquely attractive but functional hybrid material tv feature wall in the living room. Naturally, a large LG Black Screen TV is mounted on it to help further enhance its aesthetic capabilities. However, this tv feature wall uses a hybrid material of a classic Nippon white painted wall with some decorative glass accents and a teak-wood border frame. At the corners of the border frame is a built-in LED lighting fixture for helping to provide soft glowy illumination to the mounted TV area especially when it gets dark at night.


We are first-time homeowners who have just completed our first home renovation with AC Vision Design and we must say that the entire process has been a walk-in-the-park experience throughout! We never expect that a homegrown ID firm from here would display such good designing skills and work ethics. For example, our Interior Designer have answered a lot of our inquiries and questions more than well-enough that we know that he is a highly experienced designer with years of experience and ID wisdom. As a ID professional, he has gone beyond the realms of professionalism by going through the extra mile to help us assemble our lighting fixtures, and even worked on his off-days so that the project can be completed sucessfully within the given deadline. Even though there were some minor ID obstacles along the way, the designer ensures that all problems are solved immediately without any further delays.

Here are our opinions on the renovation and design:

1. Dining Area

The dining area has a Lights Atelier Modern Pendant Light fixtures hung above the Nippon white plastered ceiling. Nevertheless, the pendant lights are not only aesthetically attractive in a creatively straightforward way, but they help to provide an efficient focus illumination for a well-lighted atmosphere. The UrbanMood Rove Modern Kitchen Island has a minimalistic and sleek aesthetic appeal since it has a gorgeous all-black countertop and base colors. As a final touch to this island table are several FortyTwo Balustrade Arm Chair barstools for good and firm seating. Plus, the Hong Lee white marble flooring helps to maximize spaces even further.

2. Living Room | LG

The living room has a large LG Black Screen TV mounted on a Speedy Decor neutral-colored tv feature wall that helps to make the space more spacious. Nevertheless, the tv feature wall is a cut above the rest of the others since it has a mirrored or glass accent. Besides having a decorative mirrored or glass accent, it has a teak-wood border frame with built-in LED lighting on its upper part. Adjacent to the TV is a HipVan beige color three-seater armrest sofa seater set made of genuine leather. At the same time, the ExpressWindows large bay windows provide maximum lighting.

3. Large Bedroom

The bedroom has a large LG Black Screen TV Speedy Decor mounted on a classic neutral-colored tv feature wall with glass accents for decor purposes. Nonetheless, the UrbanMood rustic-wood tv console has a triple-toned color block and is perfect for storing entertainment gadgets. Adjacent to the TV is a Speedy Decor custom-made teak-wood bedstand that looks aesthetically warm and welcoming due to its natural wood texture. Plus, the bedframe also serves as a simple and eye-pleasing wall decor due to its extension up to the ceiling. At the same time, the Curtaintalks thick curtain drapes help to give the user some privacy.

Final words

Overall, we can conclude and wrap it up by saying that the unit is designed for a quintessentially Modern Scandinavian style. For example, this unit is space-enhanced despite being initially a compact-sized unit. This factor can be seen clearly in its limited spaces that are heavily decluttered and maximized to full effect. But what makes this unit a cut above the rest? Naturally, it is the hybrid material tv feature wall with built-in LED lighting in the living room spaces of the unit. First of all, the tv feature wall main canvas is on a simple Nippon white painted wall with decorative glass accents. However, it also has a teak-wood border frame at its upper part that is LED lighting integrated.

Finally, the theme across the house fits perfectly with everything surrounding it. For example, you find a lot of sleek and streamlined designs. In addition, the colors are minimalistic and natural.
