This unit at SIMEI STREET is a resale HDB apartment with an estimated floor area of 743 sqft. It features a Minimalist style. Nonetheless, this unit was the magnum opus of the creatively gifted Singaporean design team company, Image Creative Design Pte Ltd. Ever since they first made their foray in the local ID market here, they have managed to successfully put on their ID renovation Midas touch on houses of all statures and sizes across the interior of Singaporean homes. The unit has a Minimalist interior design style that is define by simple, clean lines, and a monochrome palette with colour used as a definition. It normally amalgamates with an open-floor plan, plenty of light, and functional furniture, and it emphasize on the shape, colour and texture of just a number of essential elements. For example, there are plenty of high functionality wood furnishings across the living spaces. Among the most notable examples would be the straight-shaped layout rustic kitchen cabinet in the kitchen spaces. First of all, it is storage and space-saving since there are multiple well-designed compartments for storing and keeping the kitchen essentials neatly. Second, it is easier to clean and maintain than other types of kitchen cabinets due to its neutral texture and design. For example, some said the company would go through the extra lengths to offer their clients quality service. Meanwhile, others praised the company for their professional work-ethics come rain or shine. However, we recommend this company for they were straightforward and did not beat around the bush. Since day one, they have already explained to us clearly on the results we are getting from the renovation based on our needs and wants. Even though we wanted a Minimalist look to go along with our design, the designers delivered even though it was not something they originally proposed. Overall, it was delightful to be working with the team!

1. Kitchen | LG

The kitchen has a straight-shaped kitchen cabinet layout. The straight-shaped kitchen layout is excellent for an organized working space since everything is in sequence. Nevertheless, this straight-shaped kitchen layout has a Speedy Decor solid-wood kitchen cabinet that looks warm and welcoming due to its rustic wood design. At the same time, the ExpressWindows Jalousie glass window panes help to bring in a touch of natural sunlight. On top of that, the kitchen cabinet is also built-in with the latest electrical kitchen utilities, like an LG 10.5kg AI Direct Drive Front Load Washing Machine to help efficiently clean the dirty laundry.

2. Living Room | LG

The living room has a large LG Black Screen TV stand. Moreover, this TV stand helps to lift the television safely and remove unnecessary debris or dirt from the TV. Nevertheless, the HipVan Cava TV Console 2.1m has storage and space-saving functions to help free up more space. At the same time, the wooden platform has a Fender Stratocaster electric guitar for the inner rockstar who enjoys strumming a Beatles song or two to entertain guests who stop by. Moreover, the ExpressWindows aluminum swing windows are stylish and minimalistic-looking. They are perfect for helping to bring in a touch of illumination.

Final words

Overall, we can conclude and wrap it up by saying that the unit is designed for a quintessentially Minimalist style. For example, this unit is space-enhanced despite being initially a compact-sized unit. This factor can be seen clearly in its limited spaces that are heavily decluttered and maximized to full effect. But what makes this unit a cut above the rest? Naturally, it is the high-end decors and furnishings in the living room spaces. One of the most notable examples would be the Fender Stratocaster electric-guitar in the living room area. Likewise, the cool-looking electric guitar is perfect for the musically-inclined user to strum a rock song or two to entertain guests who stop by and visit the house.

Finally, the theme across the house fits perfectly with everything surrounding it. For example, you find a lot of sleek and streamlined designs. In addition, the colors are minimalistic and natural.
