This unit at Parc Oasis is an existing condominium with an estimated floor area of 1508 sqft. It features a Contemporary style. Completed in Dec 2021, the Parc Oasis is a modern condo unit that follows a present-day style mimicked by many urban housing dwellers in Singapore and across the continent. With its size and width, the spaces are cleverly maximized by the designer. This unit uses Modern Scandavanian as part of its design theme, whilst its main texture is a natural light wood, seconded by natural marble for a prestigious and contemporary look. The primary color is white here since white exudes a chic and effortlessly classy vibe besides being easy on the eyes. On the other hand, the secondary color is wood brown, mostly seen in its two-tone colored kitchen cabinet, dark-hue wooden doors/dining tables/ chairs, and an isolated single part of the walls in the living room.

Like heaven versus earth, the stark white color contrasted greatly with the pitch black colors and darker hues surrounding the house. In cue with its contemporary style, the design is minimally pleasant but without being too generic looking. For instance, the highlights of the condo's interior are its chic Scandavanian-ish wood design that goes across the TV cabinet, its same built-in walls, and into upper parts of the kitchen cabinets and the entire kitchen flooring.

We highly recommend this designer to fashion-oriented individuals who crave a minimally chic and straightforward look, in contrast to fast trends or fads that fade out soon before you can bid adieu. The contemporary style has a long-lasting power and is relevant to urbanites living in big cosmopolitan cities and across first-world countries like Singapore. Other than that, this particular design theme is the bee knees in interior design terminology. If the magazine 'W" is the fashion bible for men, then the same can be said for this chosen interior design style. Budget-wise, you are getting the best bang for the buck! The designer charges accordingly based on the materials and design used. The cost is a steal that you cannot resist since the designer is helping you to renovate a condo unit instead of a humble hut. Moreover, the maintenance is low-key and easy to upkeep. Even with time, the look will never go out of style!

1. Living Room | Panasonic

For starters, the living room has ample space. In reality, it is so aplenty that you could bask in the exclusivity of its sheer spaciousness. For instance, you could walk around freely or do a vigorous Zumba dance session via the TV console since the widened spaces on Hong Lee's Asian Yellow marble flooring give you the liberty to move and dance like J.Lo. Minimal furniture and decor are in the living room - you only see a Bed And Basics dark grey three-seater sofa set, a small rectangle-shaped coffee table, and some random decor here and there. Aside from that, electrical appliances are also minimal, like a Panasonic three-blade ceiling fan, air-conditioner, and LG Black Led TV set. But to spice things up a little, the walls behind the sofa set could do with a lovely nature-inspired painting or two.

2. Large Bedroom

The simple and minimalistic bedroom is not impressive and nothing-to-shout-about. Through this means, we are not saying that the bedroom design is ugly or unattractive in any other way. It is just that you don't see any fancy frills that immediately catch your eye at a single glance. But to be transparent, we like the Dulux natural white look of this bedroom. The feeling is reminiscent of seeing an infant born for the first time since babies are symbols of purity and light. Furthermore, the HipVan Madeline 4 Drawer queen-sized bed is invitingly cozy. However, the walls above the bedhead stand could do with a Rembrant picture decor or two.

3. Toilet

The bathroom or toilet is your modern-day, standard archetypically type found in many Contemporary households across the republic. But unlike some of its similar counterparts, it is not aesthetically dull to view. If you see real closely, you will notice that the bathroom is put through an interior makeover to give it a chic, semi-wood-based look. After all, Modern Scandavanian is part of the theme of this bathroom. Except for the grey flooring, the bathroom appliances differ in color. For instance, the ceiling above, the bathtub, the seat-on toilet, and the cabinet where the sink for washing hands is built-into are all white. However, the area could be spruced up with a money plant or two for easy maintenance.

4. Kitchen | Dulux

The kitchen is your standard, everyday kitchen - nothing unusual ala typically found in many modern households. But watch closely and take notice. In contrast to most standard-type kitchens, this one is slightly different from the rest. For instance, it has a chic and elevated look that takes it to the next stage. Despite the color white utilized on the top plastered ceiling and part of the Dulux natural white walls, earthy wood-based materials dominate and practically surround the entire kitchen. Regardless it is from the MySeat customized two-toned kitchen cabinets right up to its flooring. Kitchen appliances are also minimal since only necessary objects are displayed.

5. Dining Area

The dining room is not conveniently situated next to the kitchen, making it difficult for the user to seamlessly bring in/out their favorite food within arm's reach. Again, wood-based materials adequately dominate the dining room in the form of its simple but FurnitureSg elegant-looking dining table set and also in the main entryway doors. Just like the living room, the HongLee Asian Yellow natural marble flooring is ample and stretches to the end of the hallway. Here in the dining room, a few items caught our eye - mainly the trio of IKEA Melodi pendant lamp white fixtures placed right above the dining table and the two bicycle displays fixed upon the pitch-black walls. But the walls facing across the right of the dining table set could do with a lovely abstract entrance decorative art to cover the sparse area.

Final words

Overall, the theme and design are very consistent throughout the house. For instance, the colors used are minimal but still pleasant to the eye. Inside here, you see mainly white, natural hues, and dark to even darker shades meant for specific objects or other wall parts. The wood-based embellishment and dark hues give the design color spectrum a raw edginess for that sharp, noticeable look.

One can conclude that the designer of this unit is an expert in this particular design niche. The word understatedly stunning is even an understatement of a compliment for this designer and his team. On the other hand, the designer has also maximized the limited spaces to clever effect, especially in specific rooms. For instance, the bathroom appliances and furniture are all strategically put in order within one arm's reach for total convenience and practicality - so that they can bathe, brush their teeth, and do whatever they can, albeit seamlessly.
