It features a Modern Scandinavian style. Nonetheless, this unit was the magnum opus of the creatively gifted Singaporean design team company, Juz Interior Pte Ltd. Ever since they first made their foray in the local ID market here, they have managed to successfully put on their ID renovation Midas touch on houses of all statures and sizes across the interior of Singaporean homes. The unit has a Modern Scandinavian interior design style symbolized by using a barely there style that incorporates a mix of textures and natural soft shades to make sophisticated modern decor feels cozy with a welcoming feel. It stresses clean and uncomplicated lines, practicality, and straightforward-looking furnishings that are functional, attractive, and warm. For starters, the designer of this unit utilizes massive natural organic materials such as wood and marble. Naturally, this is most significant in the living area spaces where the designer cleverly incorporates a mix of faux-marble and genuine marble on its wide flooring and tv feature wall. For example, the tv feature wall uses a white marble laminate finish as an alternative since authentic Italy's white Statuario marble is very costly and not a breeze to install. At the same time, it would also result in an overdone and tacky look.
After speaking to a few designers, we decided to hire Juz Interior since we heard many good things about them. According to their social media page on the internet, many people gave them positive reviews while the negative flak is just a minority. For example, some said the company would go to the extra lengths to offer their clients quality service. Meanwhile, others praised the company for its professional work ethic come rain or shine. However, we recommend this company for they were straightforward and did not beat around the bush. Since day one, they have already explained to us clearly the results we are getting from the renovation based on our needs and wants. Even though we wanted a Minimalist look to go along with our design, the designers delivered even though it was not something they originally proposed. Overall, it was delightful to be working with the team!
The kitchen has a straight-shaped kitchen cabinet layout. The straight-shaped kitchen layout is excellent for an organized working space since everything is in sequence. Nevertheless, this straight-shaped kitchen layout has a Speedy Decor solid-wood kitchen cabinet that looks eye-popping due to its lovely sky-blue design. At the same time, the kitchen cabinet is unique since it has Yafen LED lighting glowing out from its corners. On top of that, the kitchen cabinet is also built-in with the latest electrical kitchen utilities, like an Electrolux 76cm Ultimate Taste 300 Built-In Two Burner Gas Hob for the ultimate multifunctional daily cooking experience.
The bathroom looks warm and welcoming. For example, it has a large Direct Carpentry full-mirrored bathroom cabinet that is stylish and cozy-looking. Likewise, the cabinet has a rustic-wood design as its base and a white-ceramic counter surface that blends well together. At the same time, the backsplash of the walls in the bathroom has WhiteHorse striking porcelain wall tiling. Moreover, the mirrored cabinets help to make the spaces bigger and brighter due to their light-reflecting properties. On the other hand, the Hoe Kee white ceramic toilet bowl with a one-touch flushing system that helps flush down daily human impurities instantly.
The living room has a large LG Black Screen TV mounted on a Wallhub smooth white marble laminate finish. Moreover, this laminate finish helps to bring the user to another level since it is luxurious and elitist-looking. Nevertheless, the Direct Carpentry white built-in tv console has storage and space-saving functions to help free up more space. Adjacent to the tv is an Etsy three-seater modular sofa set in bright orange. Moreover, the modular sofa set is stylish and minimalistic-looking. They are perfect for helping to bring in a touch of cozy comfort for a young modern family to relax and sit.
The dining area has LightMakers Paper Cranes Bird Lamp Collection. Naturally, this ceiling lamp is beautiful and striking in design. At the same time, it helps to create a luminescent glow of lighting option for smaller spaces. But the HipVan Carson dining table is smooth and stylish to help bring an aesthetic decor to the living spaces. Moreover, it is light-reflecting and helps to free up space due to its bright white color. On the other hand, the HipVan Quinn dining chair in fabric Jade is a stark contrast to the bright hue of the dining table due to its dark color.
Overall, we can conclude and wrap it up by saying that the unit is designed for a quintessentially Modern Scandinavian style. For example, this unit is space-enhanced despite being initially a compact-sized unit. This factor can be seen clearly in its limited spaces that are heavily decluttered and maximized to full effect. But what makes this unit a cut above the rest? Naturally, it is the high-end decors and furnishings in the living room spaces. One of the most notable examples would be the paper crane bird lamp in the dining room area. Likewise, the cool-looking bird-lamp is perfect for a statement decor to impress and "wow" guests who stop by and visit since it is unlike any traditional lamp.
Finally, the theme across the house fits perfectly with everything surrounding it. For example, you find a lot of sleek and streamlined designs. In addition, the colors are minimalistic and natural.
