It features a Modern style. Nonetheless, this unit was the magnum opus of the creatively gifted Singaporean design team company, Ascend Design Pte Ltd. Ever since they first made their foray in the local ID market here, they have managed to successfully put on their ID renovation Midas touch on houses of all statures and sizes across the interior of Singaporean homes. The unit has a Modern home interior design that uses environmentally-friendly and natural-materials combined with simplistic furniture as one of its elements. For starters, this unit uses a lot of natural wood material that is not only of premium-quality, but has an edge from others because it is a product of eco-friendly wood. Naturally, the wood material are cleverly incorporated into various furnishings in the house such as the built-in wooden kitchen cabinet. Other than being aesthetically attractive in a weathered way, this wooden kitchen cabinet's true form is to provide practicality and functionality to the user and those living in under one roof. For example, this wooden kitchen cabinet has multiple hidden storages and compartments to help the user to store all the kitchen essentials to help eliminate clutter. As an added edge, some of the wooden furnishings have built in LED lighting.
We would recommend the designer and his team because we felt that they are the bee's knees when it comes to ID designing firms across the Republic of Singapore. Our entire renovation and handover of our home were completed recently and we engaged Ascend Design Asia Pte Ltd for this job. For starters, the Chief Designer was honest and reliable at all times when we needed the ID job to be done. When we have issues with the craftsmanship of the design, we called him up and there he was staying beyond the extra hours at the renovation site and surpassing our expectations as a leading homegrown ID firm. Even if he was late at certain unforeseeable times, the Chief Designer would come in and apologize before proceeding to reschedule the event. But most importantly, the charges are also reasonable and is in tune with the design and workmanship given.
The living room has a HipVan two-seater sofa seater set that has a comfortable and cozy feel due to its unique ergonomic design. Furthermore, the few BedandBasics throw pillows have a solid neutral color palette that matches exactly with the sofa seater. At the same time, the UrbanMood square-shaped wooden coffee table is the best bet for placing a vase of flowers or the remote control on it. Moreover, the CarpetWorkz carpet beneath the coffee table has an intricate design that brings beauty and substance to the living spaces. However, adjacent to the sofa set is a LG Black Screen TV.
The kitchen has a straight or linear kitchen layout. This straight kitchen layout is space-efficient and has a rustic and weathered wooden design that is stylish-looking and straightforward. Moreover, the straight kitchen has a Speedy Decor custom-made cabinet. It has multiple hidden storage compartments to help put away all the kitchen necessities such as kitchen knives and dry canned foods in their proper places. Furthermore, there is an open-shelving corner for the user to display the silverware openly. On the other hand, there is a LG standard-sized oven to help the user to bake and roast all the culinary delights.
The toilet has an IKEA wooden bathroom cabinet that looks simple and trendy. For example, the wooden cabinet has a homely wood design that gives it a rustic vibe. However, the functionality of the wooden cabinet is to help eliminate clutter and keep the spaces clean. Moreover, there is an IKEA classic round vanity mirror that helps with the grooming needs of the user. This mirror also helps to reflect light in the living spaces and maximize the spaces area. On the contrary, the Ferrara rainfall shower head has a bigger water coverage to help give a pleasant bathing sensation.
The bedroom has a large BedandBasics queen-sized bed that looks ergonomic. It is spacious and comfortable enough for more than one person to sleep on it, albeit without the fear of having back-breaking backache. At the same time, there is a Speedy Decor custom-made wooden wardrobe that doubles up as an open-shelving cabinet. The wooden wardrobe is perfect for helping the user to store their clothing essentials and the open-shelving cabinet for the display decors. However, there is an Osim massage chair that is ergonomic as it helps to give a relaxing massage and backrub to the user while looking aesthetically-attractive.
The bedroom has a large BedandBasics queen-sized bed that is perfect for more than one person to sleep on it due to its wide and spacious-looking size. The bed has an IKEA pristine white bedsheets that look minimalistic but hip to strike a balance with the room's natural surroundings. Hanging above the white plastered ceiling is a SembawangLightHouse four-blade ceiling fan that has multipurpose function. It not only helps to provide ventilation to the bedroom, but a hint of illumination at the same time. Moreover, the Hong Lee wooden vinyl flooring serves to give a comfortable walking pavement for the user.
Overall, we can conclude and wrap it up by saying that the unit is designed for a quintessentially Modern style. For example, this unit is space-enhanced despite being initially a compact-sized unit. This factor can be seen clearly in its limited spaces that are heavily decluttered and maximized to full effect. But what makes this unit a cut above the rest? Without a doubt, it is the modern-looking wooden furnishings in the house living spaces. Nonetheless, natural wood is used since it is a modern and versatile material that goes in line with the Modern theme of the house. Take, for example, the wooden kitchen cabinet. It is aesthetically attractive in a simple rustic way, but has storage for functional purposes.
Finally, the theme across the house fits perfectly with everything surrounding it. For example, you find a lot of sleek and streamlined designs. In addition, the colors are minimalistic and natural.
