It features a Contemporary style. Nonetheless, this unit was the magnum opus of the creatively gifted Singaporean design team company, Couple Abode Pte Ltd. Ever since they first made their foray in the local ID market here, they have managed to successfully put on their ID renovation Midas touch on houses of all statures and sizes across the interior of Singaporean homes. The unit has a Contemporary interior design style symbolized by using a mixture of minimalistic textures and soft color palettes to make a simple, modern decor back to the basics. It stresses the most functional, where natural elements such as wood and marble stone is used to give a modern and edgy look. For starters, certain quarters of the living spaces such as the bathroom has a high volume of marble stone displayed. In this case, the exclusive and high-end Emperador light grey marble stone is used as a backsplash on all the four nooks and corners of the bathroom walls. Naturally, the Emperador light grey marble brings in a touch of prestige that helps to elevate the social status of the unit's owner. At the same time, the marble also evokes a spa-like sensation that is unwinding and calming to the senses.
We would recommend the designer and his team because we felt that they are the numero uno when it comes to ID designing firms across the Republic of Singapore. Our entire renovation and handover of our home were completed recently and we engaged Couple Abode Pte Ltd for this job. For starters, the designer in charge of our ID project was the one we are looking for in terms of ID experience, skills and talent. When we were first introduced to the Chief Designer of this project, he "wow" us instantly due to his good communication skills and charisma. But most importantly, he knows all about ID at the back of his hand. For example, he could tell us all about the tiling materials to choose, the color scheme that suits our renovation unit and the budget that fits our price tag. Overall, we give our thumbs up to them!
The bathroom looks like a spa tranquil oasis. There is a Speedy Decor full-mirrored wooden bathroom cabinet that looks spacious and space-saving. Moreover, the wooden bathroom cabinet helps to keep the spaces neat and clean by eliminating unnecessary excess clutter. At the same time, the Hoe Kee white ceramic washing sink is color-coordinated with the white ceramic Econflo toilet bowl since both are of the same material. On the other hand, the surrounding walls of the bathroom spaces has a Hong Lee Emperador light grey natural marble backsplash that instantly elevates the entire atmosphere to a more prestige living status.
The living room has an LG Black Screen TV mounted on a simple Nippon white-painted wall. Meanwhile, the white-painted wall is space-maximizing for its bright white hue helps to give an illusion of space to others. At the same time, the UrbanMood wooden TV console is storage and space-saving, perfect for helping to store all the nitty-gritty gadgets inside it. Furthermore, the UrbanMood wooden coffee table is not only a suitable aesthetic display decor, but it is handy for putting things on its surface. The dining table looks attractive in a rustic-way due to its natural wood designs and texture, while the dining chairs are strong and comfy enough to sit on and dine in style. On the other hand, the ExpressWindows fixed windows bring in some natural sunlight and ventilation to the dining area's ambiance.
The kitchen has a straight-lined kitchen layout. Compared to other types of kitchen layouts out there, the straight-lined kitchen layout is more systematic and well-organized since each built-in kitchen utility is positioned in sequence order. Aesthetically, this Speedy Decor custom-made cabinet has a beaten-off look that appeals to those who like their wooden furnishings to be modern and edgy. But it is also built-in with several modern kitchen utilities, among them is an LG convection oven that allows the user to cook in many different ways. Plus, the ComoDecor two art decors are striking-looking and bring in some color.
The bedroom has a Speedy Decor large custom-made wooden wardrobe that looks rustic and beaten off. Nevertheless, it is perfect for space-storing and space-saving purposes. Other than that, it makes a suitable space-filler or furnishing to fill up the bedroom spaces. At the same time, the BedandBasics standard-sized bed has simple and solid-color bedsheets that complement the room's natural calm atmosphere. The Fortytwo black-color recliner chair is sleek looking and provides sturdy and ergonomic seating for the wooden study table. Plus, the ExpressWindows fixed windows bring in a touch of natural sunlight and airy-cool breeze to the living spaces.
Overall, we can conclude and wrap it up by saying that the unit is designed for a quintessentially Contemporary style. For example, this unit is space-enhanced despite being initially a compact-sized unit. This factor can be seen clearly in its limited spaces that are heavily decluttered and maximized to full effect. But what makes this unit a cut above the rest? Without a doubt, it is the massive natural wood material being utilized in the high-end furnishings to the embellishments in the living spaces. Naturally, natural oak wood is being used for this purpose since it is stronger and more durable compared to other types of lighter wood material. After all, beech and ash are fragile and break apart easily.
Finally, the theme across the house fits perfectly with everything surrounding it. For example, you find a lot of sleek and streamlined designs. In addition, the colors are minimalistic and natural.
