It features a Modern style. Nonetheless, this unit was the idea and innovation of the creatively gifted Singaporean design team company, Aestherior Pte Ltd. Ever since they first established their name in the local ID market here, they have conjured their ID renovation magic touch on houses of all statures and sizes across Singapore. The unit has a Modern home design that is reflected in its monochromatic color palette, clean lines, minimalism, natural materials, and natural light. Modern interior design can be seen in its clean-cut lines, simple home decor, neutral colors, open floor plans, and low and long furniture. For starters, modern homes are made with clean, straight lines and minimal ornamentation. Other than that, there are also plenty of neutral colors utilized. For example, modern style tends forgo bright colors in a favor of a monochromatic, neutral color palette. Picture white, beige, gray, black, and pastel tones. There is also minimal home-decor as seen in its few bare furnishings. For example, there are a number of modern pendant lights seen in its living spaces. The Chief Designer was incredibly accommodating and helpful - for example, he explained to us from head to toe regarding the pros and cons of the design so that we are mentally prepared for everything that will come along our way. Whatsmore, the designer and his team were pretty flexible with the prices. For example, they did not charge us with a skyrocket price that will burn a hole in our wallets even though they are an established leading firm. Overall, we would like to recommend the designer and his team to homeowners out there who value quality over quantity anytime!
The living room has a LightsAtelier modern pendant light that has a funky and unique design. In terms of functionality, it has focus illumination to illuminate the entire living spaces. Below the modern pendant light is a Hong Lee white Statuario marble dining table that is space-enhancing due to its bright white surface. The marble dining table is also perfect for a young modern family to dine in style and comfort. At the same time, the Hong Lee white porcelain floor tiling is a stark constrast with the monochromatic shades of the other furnishings. The large bay windows are an illumination lifesaver.
The living room has an LG Black Screen TV mounted on Hong Lee's white Statuario marble wall. Nonetheless, the mounted TV is essential in helping to maximize the living spaces, besides giving a clean and neat outer-appearance that is clutter-free. Adjacent to the TV is a HipVan three-seater sofa seater that looks cozy and comfortable. In terms of functionality, the wooden cabinet has storages at the top and bottom part to help store all the bathroom essentials neatly. On the other hand, the Hoe Kee washing sink is color-coordinated with the cabinet countertop.
The kitchen has a galley kitchen layout. This galley kitchen layout is space-maximizing and gives an illusion of spaces thanks to its unique and practical design. Moreover, the galley kitchen is also built-in with the latest and most groundbreaking kitchen utensils that are necessary for a typical Singaporean such as a kitchen sink, convection oven, exhaust hood, two burner oven stove, and a toaster oven. For example, the LG kitchen sink is stainless steel and fitted with a dishwasher. Meanwhile, the exhaust hood is essential to help with eliminating the food odour in the kitchen when there is no ventilation.
The bedroom has a large Megafurniture queen-sized bed that looks spacious and comfortable. It is perfect for two-sleepers to sleep on it, or those who love to sleep with their pet. At the same time, the BeddingAffairs bedsheets have a dark-blue neutral palette that is a stark- contrast with the pristine white surroundings. Moreover, the BedandBasics pillows complement with the colour of the bedsheets. However, there are a couple of things that can be improved with this bedroom. For example, you can mount a ComoDecor art decor on the bare walls to helps beautify and spice up the living spaces.
Overall, we can conclude and wrap it up by saying that the unit is designed for a quintessentially Modern style. For example, this unit is space-enhanced despite being initially a compact-sized unit. This factor can be seen clearly in its limited spaces that are heavily decluttered and maximized to full effect. But what makes this unit a cut above the rest?
