It features a Minimalist style. Nonetheless, this unit was the magnum opus of the creatively gifted Singaporean design team company, Couple Abode Pte Ltd. Ever since they first made their foray in the local ID market here, they have managed to successfully put on their ID renovation Midas touch on houses of all statures and sizes across the interior of Singaporean homes. The unit has a Minimalist interior design style symbolized by using a mixture of minimalistic textures and soft color palettes to make a simple, modern decor back to the basics. It stresses the most functional and basics of things, where only the essential furnishings and decorations are utilized. For starters, there is a lot of minimalist looking lighting features used around the living spaces of the house. Take, for example, the living room where the tracklights mounted on the white plastered ceiling are not only simple-looking but functional as well that they help to provide a general illumination to the area. However, the most outstanding lighting feature is none other than the LED lighting built into the open-shelving section of the wooden cabinet. Compared to the traditional lighting, the LED lights are more energy-efficient besides helping to give a stunning and alluring glow.
We would recommend the designer and his team because we felt that they are the best of the lot when it comes to ID designing firms across the Republic of Singapore. Our entire renovation and handover of our home were completed recently and we engaged Couple Abode Pte Ltd for this job. For starters, the designer in charge of our ID project was not only highly efficient, but he is someone that we could trust and rely on too. Initially, when we said we wanted a Minimalist look, the Chief Designer gave us several suggestions and designs that reflect on what we are looking for in our dream unit. Even though we rejected several of his suggestions in the beginning, but he took up the initiative to come out more impressive ideas that blow our minds to the very core. Overall, we would recommend them to homeowners who value quality!
The living room has a HipVan two-seater armrest sofa set that looks cushy and inviting enough for a relaxing lounge or siesta. In terms of design and structure, the sofa set is sleek and streamlined for a clean fluid aesthetic appeal. Furthermore, there are a couple of random striking throw pillows that pop out due to their colorful palette. At the same time, right behind the sofa seater is a Comodecor art decor that is abstractly drawn and painted to look like a Picasso masterpiece. On the other hand, the IKEA black-colored tracklights provide a general lighting for the spaces.
The dining area has a single LightsAtelier modern pendant light that looks simplistic combined with a touch of stylish modern charm. Nonetheless, they provide a focus and energy-saving lighting method to the living spaces. At the same time, there is an UrbanMood wooden dining table with matching FortyTwo dining chairs below the pendant lights. The dining table looks simple and chic enough for a casual dining affair due to its natural oak wood designs and texture, while the dining chairs are the perfect sitting sidekick. On the other hand, the Nippon pristine white walls provide a stark contrast to the neutral shades.
The bedroom has a Speedy Decor large custom-made wooden wardrobe that looks stylishly straightforward. Nevertheless, it is perfect for space-storing and space-saving purposes. Other than that, it makes a suitable aesthetic decor to beautify the bedroom spaces. At the same time, the BedandBasics queen-sized bed has cool grey-toned bedsheets that complement the room's neutral color palette. The UrbanMood bedside table is perfect for putting a compact-sized bedside lamp. For an instant streak of natural sunlight, the ExpressWindows's large bay windows is the ideal lighting conductor. Besides helping to maximize the spaces via the natural sunlight, it also brings in fresh air.
Overall, we can conclude and wrap it up by saying that the unit is designed for a quintessentially Minimalist style. For example, this unit is space-enhanced despite being initially a compact-sized unit. This factor can be seen clearly in its limited spaces that are heavily decluttered and maximized to full effect. But what makes this unit a cut above the rest? Without a doubt, it is the various types of natural lighting used in the unit's different living spaces - from the living room, the bedroom to the kitchen. Naturally, the most outstanding lighting feature is the built-in LED lights on the living room's wooden cabinet. The wooden cabinet has lighted LED lights to help illuminate the display decors.
Finally, the theme across the house fits perfectly with everything surrounding it. For example, you find a lot of sleek and streamlined designs. In addition, the colors are minimalistic and natural.
