It features a Minimalistic style. Nonetheless, this unit was the magnum opus of the creatively gifted Singaporean design team company, Ascend Design Pte Ltd. Ever since they first made their foray in the local ID market here, they have managed to successfully put on their ID renovation Midas touch on houses of all statures and sizes across the interior of Singaporean homes. The unit has a Minimalistic home interior design trademark which features mostly linear and clean-cut lines, combined with little to barely any unnecessary clutter to help maximize the living spaces as to give an optic space illusion for the user and those who live under the same roof. For starters, the entire living spaces has a simple and straightforward look, devoid of any tacky or over-the-top embellishments. Take, for example the wooden furnishings. The wooden dining table and chairs in the dining area has a streamlined and clean fluid aesthetic appeal that is highly functional at the same time. Other than looking aesthetically attractive in a minimalistic way, its true function is to provide a solid and sturdy dining furniture for the user to dine in style and comfort for years to come. On top of that, it is also suitable as a treasured family heirloom.
We would recommend the designer and his team because we felt that they are the bee's knees when it comes to ID designing firms across the Republic of Singapore. Our entire renovation and handover of our home were completed recently and we engaged Ascend Design Asia Pte Ltd for this job. For starters, the Chief Designer displayed incredible professionalism and work ethic that cannot be compared with other similar ID firms in the Singaporean market. When we asked him to take a look at our original unrenovated house so that he can give some honest feedback on how to transform it into a stunning dream house of our choice, he immediately came with his team and gave us some excellent pointers. That is when we know that he is someone who knows his ID stuff at the back of his hand. Overall, we would like give our thumbs up!
The living room has an LG Black Screen TV mounted on a simple white painted wall. Moreover, the white-painted wall serves as a distraction from the dark screen of the black TV. The UrbanMood tv console is perfect for storing the remote control. Adjacent to the LG Black Screen TV is a HipVan two-seater sofa seater that looks cozy and comfortable. Furthermore, there are a couple of BedandBasics throw pillows to help accentuate the beauty of the sofa seater. At the same time, the ExpressWindows large bay windows are perfect for helping to maximize the natural sunlight and airy ventilation.
The dining area has an UrbanMood wooden dining table that looks sturdy and durable since it is a product of natural oak wood. Therefore, this dining table is perfect for a young modern family to dine on in style and comfort. At the same time, there are a couple of Fortytwo wooden dining chairs and a wooden dining bench to complement the dining table. On the contrary, there is a large Speedy Decor wooden cabinet that is perfect for helping the user store the dining area cutleries in its hidden storage while the open-shelving is useful to display the decors.
The bedroom has a large BedandBasics queen-sized bed that looks ergonomic. It is spacious and comfortable enough for more than one person to sleep on it, albeit without the fear of having back-breaking backache. At the same time, the IKEA bedsheets are in a neutral color palette that is color-coordinated with its two fluffy pillows. Furthermore, the walls behind the bedstand have a homely Speedy Decor wood-texture design. On the contrary, the Speedy Decor custom-made wardrobe helps to store the user's clothes and accessories. It also doubles up as a small built-in bedside table for the user's books and other stuff.
The kitchen has a straight or linear kitchen layout. This straight kitchen layout is space-enhancing and has an elegant dual-toned color of black and white that is aesthetically attractive. Moreover, the straight kitchen is also built-in with all the necessary kitchen utensils in its Speedy Decor wooden kitchen cabinet, such as a kitchen sink, microwave oven and an exhaust hood. For example, the LG microwave oven has the latest heating technology to reheat food and also to cook a variety of delicious cuisines. Plus, the Hddoor bi-fold doors at the kitchen's main entrance is extremely practical and easy to use.
The toilet has a Speedy Decor full-mirrored wooden bathroom cabinet that looks simple and trendy. For example, the wooden cabinet has a straightforward wood design that gives it a welcoming and warm look. Moreover, the mirrored-part on the cabinet helps to store the user's daily dose of medicine such as Panadol. At the same time, the Wallhub exposed white brick walls not only look aesthetically attractive, but also provide some dynamic and texture to the living spaces. On the other hand, the Ferrara showerhead gives the user a perfect spa-bathing experience since it has a strong water pressure for maximum pleasure.
Overall, we can conclude and wrap it up by saying that the unit is designed for a quintessentially Minimalistic style. For example, this unit is space-enhanced despite being initially a compact-sized unit. This factor can be seen clearly in its limited spaces that are heavily decluttered and maximized to full effect. But what makes this unit a cut above the rest? Without a doubt, it is the lovely white exposed brick walls in the bathroom living spaces. Other than looking aesthetically attractive, the white exposed brick walls provide a touch of dynamic and texture that cannto be replicated easily with a simple and smooth painted wall. Plus, the white exposed brick walls has a homely and warm fuzzy feeling.
Finally, the theme across the house fits perfectly with everything surrounding it. For example, you find a lot of sleek and streamlined designs. In addition, the colors are minimalistic and natural.
