If the idea of incorporating building materials into the room such as clean, curved lines, natural materials, stark contrasts, cool tones, and attention to quality is your style alley, then perhaps you can take a look at this unique Modern Contemporary unit with a slight edge in cosmopolitan Singapore. Nonetheless, this unit was the idea and innovation of the creatively gifted Singaporean design team company, ExQsite Interior Design Pte Ltd. Ever since they first established their name in the local ID market here, they have conjured their ID renovation magic touch on houses of all statures and sizes across Singapore. Alongside its Modern Contemporary theme, this unit incorporated a lot of stark contrasts in its living spaces. Take, for example, the dark blue indigo kitchen cabinet. Naturally, it has a striking and vivid pop of color that deeply contrasts with the natural brown wooden furnishings. It is akin to the yin and yang of each other. Not only that, but the beautiful pop of color also helps to highlight the flamboyance character and personality of the unit's owner. Nevertheless, a little colour also brings panache and lights up the neutral palette of the living spaces. They are also attractive and has a lovely aesthetic appeal.
We would like to recommend the designer and his team for they were such a joy to work with. What we liked most about them was that they were always very accommodating to our ID needs, be it rain or shine. For example, if we find that there is a problem with our renovation, they are always within arm's reach. Not only that, they did not turn away from any of our last-minute changes. Here's how the story goes. There was once when they colored the walls of our living room pristine white. However, we decided that white was too common and we wanted something more vibrant like teal green. Therefore, we told the designer of our dissatisfaction. To our surprise, the designer and his team quickly accommodated our wishes and turned the Id design and colors to exactly our request. Overall, we give our full thumbs up to them!
The living room has an LG Black Screen TV placed on a TV stand. Nevertheless, the TV stand helps to keep your entertainment area tidy and in proper order. Not only that but you can also store debris in your living room and free up more floor space. Adjacent to the TV stand is a MegaFurniture two-seater armrest brown leather sofa. The sofa seater may look rustic and weathered out, but it is comfortable enough for the couple to sit and hold hands as they watch TV together. On the other hand, the beautiful large bay windows bring in illumination.
The dining room has an open-space concept as it is situated next to the living room. Moreover, there are no walls or partitions that separate the access between the two living spaces. There is a round brown-colored UrbanMood wooden dining table that looks sturdy and stylish enough for the user and his family to have a gastronomy feast. The matching Fortytwo dining chairs are also comfortable for them to sit on. There is a pot of green plants to bring in a touch of sustainability. The Sharp fridge is the latest technology of its kind as it allows food to stay fresher longer.
The kitchen has an L-shaped Speedy Decor kitchen cabinet that looks minimalistic but trendy. It has a perfect layout that is great for corner space. Not only that, this kind of kitchen cabinet layout helps to maximize space and gives an illusion of space to the living spaces. Other than that, it has an easy-working triangle which means that more cooks can gather in the working space and do multiple culinary chores such as cooking and chopping raw foods. But this cabinet is unique because of the integrated LED lighting in its corners. Also, due to its striking indigo-blue color.
The living room has a Speedy Decor wooden study table that looks minimalistic and chic. Moreover, it is strong and sturdy enough that it will not easily break or fall apart despite of heavy usage. But most importantly, the wooden study table is perfect for the user to do some serious work or studying. At the same time, the ergonomic recliner chair is also comfortable and cozy enough for the user to sit down, albeit without having the fear of backache and backpain. On the other hand, the Sggoodwood natural oak wood ceiling looks warm and welcoming and gives the home a fuzzy touch.
The bedroom has a large BedandBasics queen-sized bed that is roomy enough for two people to sleep comfortably, yet compact enough for single sleepers and people with limited-sized bedrooms. Moreover, it is also perfect for those who like to cuddle their beloved pets while they sleep at night. Above the ceiling are a trio of modern pendant lights that help to create a good illumination to the living spaces of the bedroom. Not only that, they also help to beautify and make a great statement decor to the bedroom. On the other hand, there is a Speedy Decor dual-toned cabinet which is perfect for storing the bedroom's plush toys.
Overall, we can conclude and wrap it up by saying that the unit is designed for a quintessentially Modern Contemporary style. For example, this unit is space-enhanced despite being initially a compact-sized unit. This factor can be seen clearly in its limited spaces that are heavily decluttered and maximized to full effect. But what makes this unit a cut above the rest? This is due to the stark contrast of colors in its living spaces. Case, for example, the blue indigo-colored kitchen cabinet. Nevertheless, the contrast of colors is akin to the antithesis of yin versus yang.
