It features a Contemporary style. Nonetheless, this unit was the magnum opus of the creatively gifted Singaporean design team company, Ovon Design Pte Ltd. Ever since they first made their foray in the local ID market here, they have managed to successfully put on their ID renovation Midas touch on houses of all statures and sizes across the interior of Singaporean homes. The unit has a Contemporary interior design style symbolized by using a mixture of minimalistic textures and soft color palettes to make a simple, modern decor a cut above the rest from the cookie-cutter norm. For starters, there are many highly functional and attractive-looking furnishings and decor displays featured across the living spaces of the entire dream unit. A notable example would be in the living room itself. Over here, several objects becomes the icing on the cake or the center of attraction for the user and others. One of them would be the trio of Comodecor art decors mounted on the Nippon pristine white walls. On top of being the perfect space filler for the dull and simple white walls, the art decors are the epicenter of Modern art to help bring out the colorful personality and stroke of creative genius in the user and others.
We would recommend the designer and his team because we felt that they are dedicated and passionate about their job. Our entire renovation and handover of our home were completed recently and we engaged Ovon Design Pte Ltd for this job. For starters, the designer in charge of our ID project was the earliest to reply to our query. Nevertheless, he listened patiently to our needs and wants throughout the initial stage of our meeting with them that is via Zoom chats. Even though he had many exciting ideas for our pre-renovated unit, he never forced us to buy his designs if he found out that we don't like them. When we said we wanted the Contemporary look, he took the job to another level by giving us a brilliant design combined with practicality to surpass our expectations. In terms of prices, Ovon also offered us competitive prices that stood out!
The living room has a classic HipVan two-seater sofa set with wooden armrest that looks cozy and ergonomically stylish at the same time. Naturally, the two-seater sofa set helps to provide aesthetic value to the room due to its straightforward design. Despite its plain neutral color, this two-seater sofa still adds a luxurious look to the room. On top of that, the UrbanMood wooden tv coffeetable is perfect for storage and space-saving purpose. At the same time, the Comodecor trio of art decors mounted on the Nippon white painted walls helps to potray your dynamic and colorful personality to others.
The dining area has a LightsAtelier Nordic hanging pendant light that looks aesthetically-attractive in a minimalistic way. But most importantly, they help to provide better accent and task lighting to the dining area spaces. At the same time, they are space and storage-saving since they take up less space compared to other types of lighting. Plus, the UrbanMood classic oak wood dining table is in a bright-white color with a 3D marble laminate on its countertop surface. The trio of FortyTwo dining chairs helps the user to sit down in comfort while provide a relaxing environment to their loved ones.
The kitchen has a straight or linear kitchen layout. This straight kitchen layout has a Speedy Decor custom-made wooden cabinet that looks straightforward but attractive. In terms of functionality, it has plenty of storage and compartments to help with the daily kitchen essentials such as food, cooking equipment, and also silverware and dishes for the table service. At the same time, this kitchen cabinet is also a cut above the rest since it is integrated with nothing but the best and most essential kitchen utilities. Some of them includes a HarveyNorman hot water flask and a Hoe Kee washing sink.
The bathroom has an Inovo standard-sized bathtub that looks classy and polished due to its bright white ceramic color. Moreover, the bathtub serves as the perfect space filler and aesthetic decor for the bathroom spaces. But most importantly, the bathtub provides a spa-like sanctuary for the user to bathe and relax as they soak luxuriously for hours in it. At the same time, the UrbanMood full-mirrored white marble bathroom cabinet is the ultimate storage unit to prevent all their bathroom necessities from causing unnecessary clutter. Also, the cabinet washing sink is covered luxuriously in white Statuario marble for a premium look.
The bedroom has an IKEA large wooden queen-sized wooden bed that offers more room than a standard and is the best bet for those who like having plenty of room to move around. Moreover, the pristine white BeddingAffairs bedsheets help to maximize space and give an illusion of space due to their crisp white color. At the same time, the walls behind the bedstand are painted in a Nippon striking and vivid dark moss green color while a Comodecor art piece is mounted on it to help bring more color to the bedroom spaces. The blooms help to add vitality.
Overall, we can conclude and wrap it up by saying that the unit is designed for a quintessentially Contemporary style. For example, this unit is space-enhanced despite being initially a compact-sized unit. This factor can be seen clearly in its limited spaces that are heavily decluttered and maximized to full effect. But what makes this unit a cut above the rest? Without a doubt, it is the eye-catching and unique looking white Italy-originated Statuario marble spread luxuriously on the surface of the tv feature wall in the living room quarters. Naturally, the white Statuario marble looks attractive and makes the perfect aesthetic decor due to its smooth glossy surface and streaks of grey veins that overlaps on a white background.
Finally, the theme across the house fits perfectly with everything surrounding it. For example, you find a lot of sleek and streamlined designs. In addition, the colors are minimalistic and natural.
