It features a Modern style. Nonetheless, this unit was the magnum opus of the creatively gifted Singaporean design team company, Ascend Design. Ever since they first made their foray in the local ID market here, they have managed to successfully put on their ID renovation Midas touch on houses of all statures and sizes across the interior of Singaporean homes. The unit has a Modern interior design style symbolized by using a mixture of polished and fuss-free styles that originated in the late 19th century. In its most basic form, modernism shows a simple approach to life. It is defined by minimum decor while stressing industry materials. Additionally, you also seldom find decors and motifs in this type of design. Among the most notable examples would be the 3D wallpaper in the living room spaces. Aesthetically speaking, the 3D wallpaper is attractive in a modern and intricate way due to its breathtakingly eye-catching design. For example, it is not a usual norm to see a picture of an idyllic lifestyle surrounded by nature's finest in the form of massive flora and fauna. Naturally, this mesmerizing 3D wallpaper is an easy and convenient way to spice up the atmosphere's dull living spaces, albeit without too much hassle.
Despite having recommendations from friends & family on other IDs, we had a hard time deciding which ID to go with from our narrowed-down choice of 3 IDs and ultimately we went with Ascend Design whom we met through a close friend's recommendation. We were quick to connect with our chosen Interior Designer due to her style, friendliness, professionalism, and honesty that she maintained from the start to the end of the whole renovation process. Nevertheless, the Interior Designer and her entire team impressed us even more when they came back with their original layout proposal which seem to have much better ideas compared to ours complete with competitive quotations that suit our budget all within the expected deadline. But what makes them the bee's knees' is that they did not push us with any fancy sales gimmicks or force us into buying their other designs. Overall, thumbs up to the entire team!
The dining area has a HipVan faux white marble dining table in teakwood that is perfect for everyday dining or fancy-schmancy social reunions that comes together with elaborate dinner parties. Moreover, the dining table exudes pure luxury and class due to its smooth white marble surface and firm wooden legs. At the same time, adjacent to the dining table is a Speedy Decor custom-made cabinet with open shelving. The cabinet looks bright and minimalistic because of its white color. On the surface counter of the cabinet are several essential dining utilities such as a Courts Expresso maker and much more.
The living room has a Wallhub 3D wallpaper that looks eye-catching due to its intricate designs. For example, the design shows a breathtaking scenery of nature's paradise and the humble idyllic lifestyle. Nevertheless, this 3D wallpaper design helps to bring dynamism and substance to the spaces of the living room. At the same time, there is also a HipVan seven-seater sofa set in cream white that is perfect for a large modern family to sit and chill during their leisure time. Plus, the sofa set is also storage and space-saving since its white color helps to give a space illusion.
The kitchen looks modern but minimalist-looking. Nonetheless, this kitchen stands out because of its L-shaped kitchen defined by its corner working position for more efficient productivity. At the same time, this L-shaped kitchen has a Speedy Decor solid oak-wood kitchen cabinet with many well-built storage and compartments for a more structured and clean space. Moreover, this kitchen cabinet has a striking dual-toned white and teal-green combo that looks modern and playful. On the other hand, this kitchen has an LG front-load washing machine in white with a matching automatic laundry dryer for the user to effectively wash clothes daily.
The bathroom looks modern-looking. Nevertheless, it has an Etsy decorative bathroom mirror that is modern and attractive-looking due to its wavy design and striking dark-green edges. But most importantly, it has natural light-reflecting properties that can help keep the bathroom spaces fully maximized and well-lighted. At the same time, this bathroom has an UrbanMood solid-wood cabinet that is space and storage-saving but also eye-catching in looks due to its soft natural palette. On the other hand, the walls of the bathroom have a Hong Lee white Statuario marbe to help give a touch of class and prestige to the living spaces.
The bedroom has an Etsy humanoid graffiti design bedstand that looks modern and eye-catching enough to catch the attention of others. Plus, it helps to provide aesthetic decor to the bedroom spaces due to the fun and playful vibe of the design. At the same time, the HipVan Dream mattress in queen-size is cozy and firm enough to withstand the weight of two sleeping people. On the other hand, the Speedy Decor custom-made wardrobe is not only storage and space-saving for the user's clothes and fashion accessories, but it is also the perfect space filler due to its large size.
Overall, we can conclude and wrap it up by saying that the unit is designed for a quintessentially Modern style. For example, this unit is space-enhanced despite being initially a compact-sized unit. This factor can be seen clearly in its limited spaces that are heavily decluttered and maximized to full effect. But what makes this unit a cut above the rest? Naturally, it is the high-end pieces of furniture across the living spaces. A notable example would be the eye-catching but high-functional kitchen cabinet in the kitchen area. For starters, this L-shaped kitchen cabinet has a dual tone of white and teal green on its surface body. But most importantly, it is amalgamated among some of the most-essential kitchen utilities.
Finally, the theme across the house fits perfectly with everything surrounding it. For example, you find a lot of sleek and streamlined designs. In addition, the colors are minimalistic and natural.
