Nonetheless, this unit was the idea and innovation of the creatively gifted Singaporean design team company, Lome Interior Pte Ltd. Ever since they first established their name in the local ID market here, they have conjured their ID renovation magic touch on houses of all statures and sizes across Singapore. Alongside its Muji theme, this unit incorporated a design theme where unnecessary clutter is cleared from your home but also achieving a striking sense of balance so that your living unit do not look too dull or empty. For example, you do not see any strikingly tacky or over-the-top embellishments in the living room. Instead, only a few lifestyle essentials are highlighted, such as some minimalistic furnishings and a simple art decor. However, to spice up the living spaces and bring some life to it, a pot of green plant is added at the corner. Nonetheless, the plants also help to soften the look of the wood materials.
We would like to recommend the designer and his team for they offer us value-for-money despite being a pretty well-known and leading ID renovation firm in Singapore. Moreover, we initially thought that they would be like the ID firms we have interviewed and come across earlier who wanted us to pay a huge deposit before they can start with the ID renovation and works. Moreover, the designer and his team did not use any devious or unscrupolous ways just to make a quick buck out from us. For example, they did not try to sweet-talk or con us into buying their designs. Furthermore, we have done our research on this ID firm before enlisting them for their service. Based on the google reviews, many have praised the company for their professionalism and good service. Nonetheless, there are also positive mentions on few of the designers, particularly those who are reliable.
The living room looks invitingly spacious and comfortable. There is a large Panasonic black screen LED TV that is mounted on the Nippon pristine white walls. Nonetheless, the white walls are a perfect contrast to the pitch-black darkness of the TV's black screen. Moreover, the Speedy Decor tv console helps to store the TV's remote control and other living room essentials. In the middle of the room is an IKEA coffee table for the user to place a vase of lovely blooms. The MegaFurniture two-seater sofa is suitable for the user to sit down and watch TV from the opposite.
The living room has a Nippon pristine white painted walls. Mounted above the walls is a Speedy Decor customized wooden rack. Nonetheless, perfectly stored inside the wooden rack are several bottles of London-based, designer brand Jo Malone toiletries. The bottles of heavenly fragrant perfumed makes a great decor for the room's living spaces besides putting a touch of refreshing aromatherapy to enliven and uplift the user's senses. Moreover, the wooden rack helps to keep the Jo Malone toiletries tidy and clutter free. Illuminating from above is a MyLighthouse modern pendant lights to help brighten up the entire area of the living spaces.
The kitchen has an open space concept layout since it is next to the living room. Moreover, there are no walls or partitions to block access or entry between these two living spaces. There is a trio of MyLighthouse modern pendant light which makes a stunning beautifying decor piece for the dining area. But its main purpose is to illuminate up the living spaces with its bright lights, especially on the Speedy Decor dining table with matching IKEA bar stool chairs. At the same time, there is a picturesque-looking art decor that adds a touch of welcoming space to the room.
The bedroom has a large Megafurniture queen-sized bed that looks perfectly comfortable for two people to sleep on it. Moreover, it is also perfect for those with a pet to cuddle. Whatsmore, there is an IKEA dusty-red colored bedsheets that is strikingly beautiful when in contrast to the Nippon pristine white walls. The single Picasso inspired art decor helps to beautify the room's living spaces, besides adding character and depth to it. Moreover, the large Eatons Interior Pte Ltd bay windows bring in a streak of natural sunlight during the day when the IKEA white spotlights are not switched on.
The kitchen is the epitome of a Martha Stewart culinary corner. For example, it has a galley kitchen design layout or also known as the corridor kitchen layout. This stunning galley kitchen is made up of a three to five-foot corridor or a walk-way located between two parallel walls or runs of cabinetry. Aesthetically speaking, the galley kitchen has a unique-dual toned design. Its countertop is a product of Hong Lee's white Statuario marble while its bottom surface is painted in a light grey hue. Plus, this kitchen also stands out because it has Speedy Decor cabinetry with multiple storages.
Overall, we can conclude and wrap it up by saying that the unit is designed for a quintessentially Muji style. For example, this unit is space-enhanced despite being initially a compact-sized unit. This factor can be seen clearly in its limited spaces that are heavily decluttered and maximized to full effect. One of the most noteworthy examples would be in the living room. Over there, the designer specifically minimized clutter over there by only placing the essential furnishings. For example, all the furnishings are simple and clean-cut, devoid of any tacky embellishments or over-the-top excessive decors. Not only that, the sofa and coffee table are also carefully spaced out evenly so that they are not too near to one another.
Finally, the theme across the house fits perfectly with everything surrounding it. Naturally, the colors are pleasant and natural enough for a urban family to live in their dream home.
