It features a Modern Scandinavian style. Nonetheless, this unit was the magnum opus of the creatively gifted Singaporean design team company, AC Vision Design Pte Ltd. Ever since they first made their foray in the local ID market here, they have managed to successfully put on their ID renovation Midas touch on houses of all statures and sizes across the interior of Singaporean homes. The unit has a Modern Scandinavian interior design style symbolized by using a mixture of minimalistic textures and soft color palettes to bring things back to the basics of form and functionality, albeit with plenty of natural elements such as natural wood and marble to get closer to nature. For starters, a monochrome palette such as white-color makes its presence across many parts of the unit's living spaces. Most notably, you see the Nippon's pristine white color mainly on the unit's walls surface. After all, white is synonymous with Modern Scandinavian style and decor. Therefore, the stark whiteness of the Nippon pristine white painted walls helps to maximize spaces when the natural sunlight streams into the living spaces via the large bay windows. On the contrary, the designer also utilizes a massive amount of natural beech wood, especially in its high-end furnishings.
We are first-time homeowners who have just completed our first home renovation with AC Vision Design and we must say that the entire process has been a great smooth path throughout! We never expect that a homegrown ID firm from Singapore would have such exceptional standards to help put them a cut above the rest of the other mainstream cookie-cutter ID firms out there in the market. First of all, they are very experienced and were able to turn our ideas around to make them more cutting-edge but practical to live in. Although we were skeptical of their ID chops at first, we became convinced of their extensive knowledge after conversing with them during our face-to-face interactions through meeting them at the company's office. For example, the Chief Designer aka leader of the team managed to impressively blow our minds off with his knowledge in choosing the right floor tiling to carpentry.
The living room has a HipVan L-shaped three-seater sofa seater set. Nevertheless, the brown-leather sofa set looks warm and welcoming due to its natural calf leather texture. At the same time, there is a Panasonic three-blade white ceiling fan that is an excellent ventilation provider due to its functional blades. Adjacent to the sofa set is a LG Black Screen TV stand positioned on an UrbanMood rustic wooden tv console. Nevertheless, the tv console is perfect for storage and space-saving of the remote control and other small entertainment gadgets. Plus, the ExpressWindows large bay windows help to bring in sunlight.
The kitchen has a L-shaped kitchen layout. Nonetheless, it has a Speedy Decor wooden cabinet that looks stunning but in a less-obvious way due to its bright white minimalistic design and color. At the same time, the kitchen has an open-space concept since the dining area is next to it. In terms of functionality and practical use, the kitchen cabinet is integrated with the latest kitchen utilities, like a Samsung 511L French Door with Twin Cooling for food preserving.
The bedroom has a SpeedyDecor wooden bedframe that looks rugged and raw-looking due to its heavy-duty oak wood material. Other than that, the oak-wood wooden bedframe is a striking balance with the Hong Lee herringbone wood flooring since both are of the same oak-wood texture and color. Plus, the bed also makes the perfect sleeping quarters for the user since it is wide and spacious. At the same time, the Speedy Decor wooden bedframe is also multipurpose and has a 3-in-one function. It is not only a bedframe, but it also triples up as a built-in dressing table and wardrobe for storage and space-saving.
The bathroom looks minimalistic but rustic-looking due to the wide use of wood-material in its living spaces. Nevertheless, this bathroom has an UrbanMood full-mirrored maple wood bathroom cabinet. But most importantly, the bathroom cabinet has a few hidden compartments for helping to get rid of clutter and keep the spaces clean. Plus, it has LightCraft LED lighting built into the bathroom cabinet. Nevertheless, it helps to bring a touch of energy-efficient illumination to the bathroom spaces. At the same time, the ExpressWindows transom windows help bring a touch of natural sunlight and cool air. Plus, the hexagon-shaped porcelain floor tiling is attractive.
