If clean, curved lines, natural materials, stark contrasts, cool tones, and attention to quality is what you are looking for, then perhaps you can take a look at this unique Modern Contemporary unit with a slight edge in cosmopolitan Singapore. Nonetheless, this unit was the idea and innovation of the creatively gifted Singaporean design team company, Todz Terior Pte Ltd. Ever since they first established their name in the local ID market here, they have conjured their ID renovation magic touch on houses of all statures and sizes across Singapore. Alongside its Modern Contemporary theme, this unit incorporated some exposed brick walls in its living spaces. Nevertheless, the exposed brick walls help to add a character and depth to the room's mood and tone. Otherwise, it also helps to add texture to a dull space. Also, exposed bricks can add warmth to a space, to help create a fuzzy homely feel. In terms of pricing, an exposed brickwork is not as costly as some other wall finishing, as long as you have the time and dedication to maintain it. On the other hand, we also love the lovely pinks in the bedroom as they bring in a understated romantic touch.
We would like to recommend the designer and his team for they stood out to us. During the designing stage, the Chief designer conducted several workshops to show us what we would be looking forward to in our renovation journey. Therefore, he recommended quality materials and exceptional designs that would make our ID stand out. In the construction phase, the Chief designer would be providing the status and updates of the works to be completed. He also managed to successfully deal with the contractors on the working site. Within two months, our project was delivered even on tight deadlines. Not only that, the entire team was always punctual to work and would surpass our expectations by staying up later than usual for a project. Overall, we were very happy with the entire end results. We would recommend this ID firm to friends and families who need a good Id makeover!
The living room has a LightsAtelier trio of modern pendant lights hanging above the Nippon white plastered ceiling. Nevertheless, the modern pendant lights have a unique and striking design that will make people stop and stare. But most importantly, its main function is to illuminate the focus areas of the living spaces with its bright and beautiful illumination. Below the lights are a Speedy Decor wooden dining table and matching chairs perfect for the sustainable and environment-conscious family to dine on. On the other hand, the exposed brick walls adjacent to the dining table help to bring depth and substance.
The kitchen has a galley kitchen. It looks minimalistic and stylish at the same time. Nonetheless, the galley kitchen is separated by two parallel opposites instead of one. Therefore, it is easy to divide galley kitchens into multiple working areas. Besides that, the galley kitchen also has plenty of storage in its Speedy Decor cabinets for the user to store their kitchen essentials in the customized compartments and storage. Aesthetically speaking, this galley kitchen is also dual-toned. But it is also unique because of the Sharp kitchen utilities integrated into it. For example, the Sharp Electric Oven is perfect for roasting and baking.
The living room has a Speedy Decor wooden study table which also doubles up as a cabinet. Nevertheless, the wooden study table is useful for some serious studying or when the user wants to relax with a random chick-lit storybook from Sophie Kinsella. Moreover, the two Fortytwo recliner chairs look ergonomically comfortable enough for two people to sit by the table and do their respective tasks, albeit without having to endure back pain. At the same time, the wooden cabinet has an open-shelving to help the user display random objects, such as picture frames. The IKEA black tracklights bring in illumination to the living spaces.
The bedroom has a large BedandBasics queen-sized bed that looks ergonomically comfortable due to its excess size space. Not only that, it is perfect for two sleepers or those who love to cuddle their furbabies when they sleep at night. The BeddingAffairs grafitti imprinted bedsheets have a lovely whimsical pattern that overlaps with its light blue fabric. Moreover, the walls behind the bedstand are in a soothing and relaxing Nippon light purple. On the other hand, the Speedy Decor wardrobe looks stylish but simple-looking. However, its main function is to help provide storage for the user's clothes and accesories in its compartments.
The bedroom has a large BedandBasics queen-sized bed that looks cozy and comfortable due to its soft-cushy fabric. What's more, the colorful graffiti imprinted BeddingAffairs bedsheets add a pop of color to the mood and tone of the room's ambiance. At the same time, the walls behind the bedstand are painted in a Nippon light pink color. The sweet light pink color gives off a lovey-dovey romantic feeling as if the user has been lovestrucked by cupid. On the other hand, the Hddoor solid-bedroom door is in a wood brown that looks rustic but simple, while the white Panasonic aircon lets off a cooling breeze.
Overall, we can conclude and wrap it up by saying that the unit is designed for a quintessentially Modern Contemporary style. For example, this unit is space-enhanced despite being initially a compact-sized unit. This factor can be seen clearly in its limited spaces that are heavily decluttered and maximized to full effect. But what makes this unit a cut above the rest? This is due to the interesting-looking decors that are featured in some of the living spaces. For example, the two sporty-looking Mountain bikes mounted on the Nippon pristine white walls of the living room. Nonetheless, the Mountain bikes make an excellent statement piece, but they help to bring substance and depth that comes with a raw edge.
Finally, the theme across the house fits perfectly with everything surrounding it. For example, you find a lot of sleek and streamlined designs. In addition, the colors are minimalistic and natural.
