If bright colors, textures, materials, incorporating multiple styles, and leaning away from minimalism fascinates you, then perhaps you can take a look at this unique eclectic unit with a slight edge in cosmopolitan Singapore. Nonetheless, this unit was the idea and innovation of the creatively gifted Singaporean design team company, Flo Design Pte Ltd. Ever since they first established their name in the local ID market here, they have conjured their ID renovation magic touch on houses of all statures and sizes across Singapore. Alongside its eclectic theme, this unit incorporated a lot of peculiar and kooky items into its living units. For example, you see the old-school European-style telephone that looks as if it came from the turn of the century. Nevertheless, this retro-looking telephone is eye-catching and makes a rare statement decor in the living room. Due to its aesthetic appeal, it is also a head-turner that will 'wow' and impress visitors who came across it. On the other hand, we also like the occasional pop of vibrant color as seen in the striking yellow-mustard three-seater armrest sofa set. It is not only the perfect space filler but the bright hue of the furniture helps to maximize the space.
We would like to recommend the designer and his team due to their professionalism and good work ethic. Initially, we wanted to hire some foreign imported hot-shot designers as we assumed that foreign talents are much better than homegrown Singaporean ones. But thank god we did not do so as most of them are not only arrogant, but they charge skyrocket prices too. Therefore, we decided that homegrown talents are our best bet when we look up on the internet. We saw many local ID firms but Flo Designs immediately caught our eyes as we saw many positive comments about them on their social media page. Many have praised them for being reliable and trustworthy. Without hesitating, we called up the company and set up an interview with them. We were impressed as they know everything ID related at the back of their hand. Overall, they have done a really good job on our house and for that, we say thank you to them!
The living room has a HipVan three-seater armrest sofa seater that looks striking due to its mustard-yellow color. The sofa seater looks cozy and comfortable enough for the user and his family to lounge on and relax. There are also several BedandBasics graffiti-imprinted throw pillows to accessorize the sofa. Adjacent to the sofa seater is an LG OLED TV mounted on the Nippon pristine white walls. The mounted TV makes the spaces look neat and clutter-free. The UrbanMood tv console is perfect for placing several pots of green plants to bring a touch of sustainability and fresh oxygen to the living spaces.
The dining area has a Speedy Decor wooden dining table with matching wooden dining chairs. The wooden dining table is made from quality walnut wood. It is sturdy enough and will last from one generation to the other. The Fortytwo matching wooden chairs complement the wooden dining table since both are from the same natural wood materials. Above the Nippon pristine white ceilings are a pair of black IKEA recessed tracklights to help illuminate the entire living spaces with its bright lights. Mounted on the white walls are several ComoDecor eclectic looking art decor that seem otherwordly due to its design
The balcony has an IKEA Askholmen outdoor wooden dining patio and chair. Nevertheless, the wooden dining patio and chair are perfect for the user to sit on and watch the stunning garden scenery and landscape. Other than that, the user can also have their teatime on the balcony as both the wooden dining patio and chair are sturdy due to it being a product of natural oak wood. On the other hand, there is a black-colored Hddoor solid metal door fully opened to let the user into the balcony or vice versa. There are also random pots of greenery to bring life into the balcony.
The bathroom has an Econflo white ceramic seat-on toilet that looks simple and minimalistic. However, the main function of the seat-on toilet is for those urgent privacy needs. Whatsmore, this toilet is unique as it has an auto flush-on system to sanitize the toilet bowl. On the other hand, there is an IKEA stainless-steel standing shower head for those who prefer a long, relaxing shower in contrast to soaking themselves in the bathtub. Furthermore, the standing shower head is fully-protected with a GlassNGrilles glass shower panes in its shower cubicle. This is to avoid water from sprinkling out to the dry floor.
The living room has a Dreamscaper European-style retro nostalgia telephone that looks as if it came directly from an antique shop along the streets of the iconic Jonker Walk, in Malacca town. This retro nostalgia phone makes the perfect statement piece to help beautify and add a touch of vintage character to the living spaces. Moreover, it is unique and will be a conversation kickstarter for guests who stop by to visit the house. Mounted on the Nippon white pristine walls nearby are also a few striking ComoDecor art pieces to spice up the bare spaces of the surrounding walls.
Overall, we can conclude and wrap it up by saying that the unit is designed for a quintessentially eclectic style. For example, this unit is space-enhanced despite being initially a compact-sized unit. This factor can be seen clearly in its limited spaces that are heavily decluttered and maximized to full effect. But what makes this unit a cut above the rest? This is due to the retro looking 19th century European style telephone in the living room spaces. Not only does this telephone fot the eclectism bill to perfection, but it also makes the perfect statement decor due to its eye-catching looks. After all, this kind of old-school telephone is a rarity in these present times, and they can only mostly be found in vintage shops.
