  We looked around across many interior firms before landing with Insight.Out Studio because of its track record of quality and high customer satisfaction. We had some specific initial ideas about how our first home should look like, in terms of design style and colour palette, and we reached out to Mandy based on her past work on the website. Indeed we are not disappointed, we are very pleased with how the home turned out, and it is almost identical with the 3D simulations. Mandy was very responsive and very knowledgeable to address all our questions about design and processes. The overall timeline was well adhered to, she was able to manage final delivery despite having some delays in certain stages. Mandy also balances our opinions and her professionalism well, and it's worth noting that she considers practicality of the home (and not just design and aesthetics) by offering good advices when it comes to the specifics that will affect functionality. While she may look soft-spoken, she's firm and demonstrated exemplary management of the project. We were very happy with the contractors' quality as well, particularly the tiler, who did an excellent job in the overall tiling works, especially the bathroom floor. As we wanted our home to be very 'safe' and wanted to incorporate round edges, the carpenter did a great job in creating rounded edges in our bookshelves and kitchen cabinets too.   Decided on Edmund to be our ID as his design was more to my wife's liking. But the main takeaway was that he's open to suggestion and prompt to giving a solution for any concern we have on the build that we were looking at. Although there is no project that will be 100% smooth sailing, we were able to minimized/mitigate situation found during renovation with the team of workers on site. And this tells a lot about the company choice of vendors they work with. With the good workmanship from the fixed-furniture team and the professionalism of the tiler that were able to properly address any defects immediately, this is definitely one of the better ones I have seen. Point to note; In view that this was done during COVID period, I did have a huge allowance of timeline for the whole renovation, and considering it was a BTO, the whole project was given a timeline of close to 6 months for completion. Which they did fully utilized the whole duration, but I think it would be better if they could have completed earlier as the renovation was not extensive nor was there any major hacking involve. As from a first time home-owner point-of-view, it will be of best interest to work with someone that is able to give solution instead of just problems, and subsequently learn from the experiences from this renovation to put across to your next new home if you decided to move.
