  The team led by Sean was professional, prompt with their responses, attentive and the resulting designs/ proposals fully met our needs/ requirements. The renovation work was done and completed on schedule and the workmanship was good. In all, we are very pleased with the team and renovation, our gals loved their ‘new’ room.   Thank you bydesignworks for being part of our journey. Our renovation works started on 5th Dec 2022 immediately after permit was approved and it was a fun, exciting but at the same time scary ride for us. Sean and Alyssa our ID/project manager worked on the design and concept way in october with many fine-tunes here and there. It started off good but during CNY period, things got a bit scary for us because it was almost close to 1.5 weeks of stagnated work. We were very anxious that our house could not be ready on time and we had to vacate our temporary place (courtesy of a kind-hearted friend) by 12 Feb 2023! We naturally became very pushy and asked for regular updates, pressing on our ID Sean🤭 But in our dealings with him, there was not even once that he or even his colleague Alyssa, raised voices at us or ignored us. I believe their courteous and humble demeanour made a lot of difference! Cos it can be quite tough to deal with a super tight and seemingly impossible deadline. But after CNY hiatus, things became magical. Sean helped us push and expedite things for us and at an amazing pace, we could see our house transformed in front of us. Granted there were hiccups along the way but they reacted inmediately to our feedback. For example, we discovered a crack on the common toilet sink. And it was immediately replaced without any pinpointing of fingers or questioning. We managed to move in on 11 Feb but there were nitty gritty touch ups here and there. Bit Sean did not leave any stones unturned and all the final touch ups were looked into and rectified till the very end. He even gave us complimentary boltless rack for our store room and sent down 2 reliable and professional handymen who helped with final touches like mounting of tv on brackets, putting up of wall paintings and pictures etc... Thank you Sean and Alyssa for your patience. They were very approachable and polite. And thank your for expediting the transformation of our retirement home. No one is perfect but what makes a difference is, our ID has empathy and humility. That makes a lot of difference!!
